Welcome to Bay Cabs. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms ensure clarity and fairness for both parties.

 

1. Our Services

Bay Cabs offers:

  • Local taxi services

  • Pre-booked airport transfers

  • Half-day private tours

All services are subject to vehicle and driver availability, traffic, and weather conditions.


2. Booking & Payments

  • Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or directly with a driver.

  • No upfront payment is required for standard taxi rides — payment is made to the driver at the end of the journey via cash or EFTPOS.

  • Full-day or private tour bookings may require confirmation or a deposit in advance.


3. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Please cancel at least 2 hours before your scheduled pickup to avoid disruption.

  • Group or tour bookings should be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee at our discretion.


4. Passenger Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • A passenger is intoxicated, abusive, or poses a safety concern

  • A passenger requests illegal or unsafe behaviour from the driver

Soiling or damaging the vehicle will incur a $150 cleaning fee or cost of repair.


5. Delays & Liability

While we aim to be on time, we are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Traffic, road closures, or weather conditions

  • Third-party incidents or mechanical issues

Bay Cabs is not responsible for missed flights, appointments, or any indirect loss resulting from delays.


6. Tour Services

  • Half-day tours are priced per vehicle and may include up to 4 passengers unless otherwise stated.

  • Additional passengers may be added for a fee (where space allows).

  • Custom itineraries must be pre-arranged and are subject to road safety and time limits.


7. Lost Property

If you believe you’ve left an item in one of our vehicles, contact us as soon as possible. While we do our best to return lost items, Bay Cabs is not liable for lost or stolen personal belongings.


8. Changes to Terms

Bay Cabs may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
